I found the butterflies (which aren't as realistic as I was hoping, but pretty nonetheless and will be satisfactory for the next few months I live here) for $4.99/pack at Michael's. Again, the net was $1.00 at Target. I used the extra butterflies to decorate a plain wreath I had, and hung it outside.
Mission accomplished.
