tumblr

I've created a Tumblr account, which you can find at:
It seemed appropriate because a lot of my internet perusal leads to interesting finds that I want to make brief commentary on & share, most importantly, but don't necessarily want to laboriously discuss in a one-sided blog post. And being that I often save ideas for posts in my brain that expire before I get the chance to make them & resolve to dismissing them, the ease of Tumblr is quite appealing.

Now that I've got my hand in what seems like all virtual networking and information sharing venues available (hi Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogger, Tumblr, etc.), I've picked favorites and lately blogger is losing out. I feel a little like Tumblr and Twitter have competing goals, though, where the upside to Twitter is that it's quick and easy (to both share content and read content submitted by others) & Tumblr on the other hand is easy and open (easy to post & share content, but open in terms of visiting an actual page with visible content within it as opposed to just outgoing links.) Oh, internet.

We'll see how this goes.
